How To Make A Claim
At Amateur Photographer Insurance Services, we are committed to providing a quality photographer insurance claims service.
Our in-house claims team can be contacted by telephoning our UK based call centre on 0345 450 7204. Calls may be recorded for mutual protection, training and monitoring purposes. You must send us any claim, writ or summons as soon as you receive it.
In the event of a claim:
- Contact the police immediately in respect of any theft or malicious damage
- You will need to download a photography insurance claim form and submit it to us. Please refer to the guidance notes included with the claim form which confirms what information you will need to provide
- You should not make any attempt to replace, repair, negotiate, pay or settle, admit or deny any claim without our written permission
- We will aim to contact you within 5 working days of receipt of your completed claim form and documentation
Failure to do any of the above may result in your claim being delayed or rejected.

Do not negotiate, pay or settle, admit or deny any claim without our or your insurer's written permission.
You must also notify us in writing of any impending prosecution, inquest or fatal accident enquiry.
We cannot deal with your claim until we have received all the necessary information and supporting documentation. It is important to provide as much detail and supporting evidence as possible, failure to do so will inevitably result in a delay. Dependent upon the circumstances of the claim, the underwriters reserve the right to request additional documentation or information as required.
